7th Grade took their studies of value and shaded objects with colored pencils in 3-D. We took our ideas of drawing Shapes and turned them into Forms (3-D Shapes) by changing the VALUES based on how the light source changed their view.

After completing our drawings we discussed bodies in motion. We spoke about how when bodies move they change the air around them like a ripple effect in the water. We created silhouettes of figures showing movement and painted a value scale around the figures to represent the waves of motion the figure creates in space.
